Recreational Facilities
Use of the Plum Island common area facilities is reserved exclusively for owners, residents and their accompanied guests. Recreational facility keys should never be given to non-residents. This action may cause loss of facility privileges. Rules governing their use have been adopted by the Board of Directors to protect your rights and your property. Your support in abiding by the rules will ensure the enjoyment of all residents and guests.

Facility Rules

Residents must accompany their guests. Guests are limited to four guests per resident at all times. Exceptions are allowed by contacting the Property Manager to obtain Board approval.

Persons 14 years of age and under must be accompanied and supervised by a resident who is 18 years old or older at the pool and facility play equipment areas.

Facility Hours: 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. for Pool and Spa.
8:00 a.m. – sunset for Tennis Courts and play areas. -
Use of the pool is entirely the responsibility of the individual. There is NO LIFEGUARD on duty.

For hygienic purposes and to eliminate sun-tan oil and other lotions that damage the pool equipment, a pool shower is required before entering the water.

All persons not toilet trained will wear tight-legged waterproof pants while in the pool.

In consideration and respect for others sharing the recreational facilities: a. Listening devices are to be played at a personal listening level.
b. No screaming, yelling, and unnecessary noise will be permitted. -
Persons with communicable diseases are not permitted to use the pool or spa.

Tennis Court and Pool Gates should remain closed when these facilities are being used. No propping.

No pets are permitted in the recreational areas.

No type of glassware or alcohol is permitted in the recreational areas.

Bicycles, skateboards and roller skates are not allowed in the recreational areas. Tennis shoes are required to be worn on the tennis courts.

Each person is responsible to remove their personal property after each use of the recreational areas. The Association is not responsible for lost articles.

When you leave the recreational area, please: a. Dispose of all refuse, cans, paper, etc.
b. Clean ash trays, if used.
c. Close doors and gates. -
The pool service equipment area is off limits to all but authorized personnel. Spa temperature adjustments are to be made only by the pool service company.

If the pool equipment fails to function properly, DO NOT attempt to correct the problem yourself. Please call The Manor Association at (650)637-1616.

The recreation area gate key must be in the possession of the person(s) using the facilities when in the pool or tennis court areas. Keys should not be shared between households; Each household is responsible for their key.

Only one recreation key will be issued per household. No exceptions.

There is a $100 charge for replacement of a lost recreation area key. Contact Manor for replacement keys.
Parking Rules
Here are the rules for using the parking on Plum Island

1. Parking in designated spaces are for visitors only.
2. No long term parking.
3. No appropriation of community parking spots.
4. Two-space lots are for residents of the adjacent houses only, for use for their personal vehicles or their visitors.
